The Ministries of Love, Peace, Plenty, and Truth are ministries in George Orwell's futuristic dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. The Ministry of Peace concerns itself with war, the Ministry of Truth with lies, the Ministry of Love with torture and the Ministry of Plenty with starvation. These contradictions are not accidental, nor do they result from ordinary hypocrisy: they are deliberate exercises in doublethink. Hanson (above) laments that we seem unable to rewrite history by democratic means, but instead rely on mobs. Not just Black Lives Matter mobs but liberals censoring conservative First Amendment speech seem to—in an almost prophetic and godly manner—know that they are perfectly RIGHT and the conservatives are perfectly WRONG. What divine intervention, what Moses-like stone tablet writing have we missed? Is there an 11th commandment God created for Black Lives Matter? What new wisdom-spewing apostle was sanctified by the heavens as we slept so we missed it? It surely wasn't racist racebaiter Al Sharpton or Mark Bray (a historian at Dartmouth College sympathetic to the Antifa movement's goals) or Antifa organizer Scott Crow. And yet these all-knowing censors and arbiters of justice sent by (God? Satan? The ghost of Hitler?) know much better than the rest of us what is right and what is wrong, and they're not afraid to show it! Isn't it the ultimate hypocrisy to become fascists in order to send godly justice to the fascists? Are they really being ANTI-fascists when they are really just manifesting a different flavor of fascism? More importantly, do we really need these misguided activists to be our judges in lieu of our justice system? Do we really want Antifa clowns undermining our democracy?

They cannot do much about the media but can stop evil conservative ideas from ever entering the PC-indoctrinated brains of fellow students, by protesting and harrassing and attacking and interrupting until the speakers (David Horowitz, Ann Coulter, etc.) feel too threatened to show up. Not only will these young people not get a well-balanced or well-rounded education from their daddy's-money-bought university experience, they will get little less than an indoctrination in political correctness, white evilness, black goodness, and conservative wrongness. It will instill bias and bigotry where learning should have happened.

All the hateful identity politics and racism during Obama's reign were making white people sick, so an unexpected number of them voted for Trump because they were fed up with PC hell and being disadvantaged, enduring black-on-white racism, and Black Skin Privilege and the American Dream. The result was a Trump victory. Democrats are bullying and silencing dissent from anyone who questions their liberal script, so everyone not buying the PC lies will be excommunicated, oppressed or smeared. But while Orwell intended his dystopian novel to be a warning against twentieth-century totalitarianism, the Left took it as an instruction manual. Their language echoes Orwellian doublethink: exclusion is inclusion. Diversity is unity. Speech is violence. Ideas are aggression. Freedom is slavery." It was a compliment, to their ears. As Robbins says, "It is no surprise that those who think America was never great would take offense at Trump’s Make America Great Again slogan. But this was not how mainstream Americans heard it. People want to feel good about their country and their history. They have a right to an uplifting story that engages their spirit and sense of possibilities. History should be about more than apportioning blame." The best way for Democrats to lose all future elections to the G.O.P. is to keep acting insane with all this statue and monument removal and desecration, obsession with PC, pushing their radical opinions on everyone in an ever accelerating authoritarianism nightmare where those with different opinions are slandered, smeared, threatened, harrassed, assaulted, and trolled. In addition, progressives are in our faces with their sick whites are evil and blacks are good campaign in what are supposed to be educational institutions but have been commandeered by radicals with the obssessive goal of indoctrinating and brainwashing. This has led to assaults on conservative speakers, professors and teachers losing their jobs for not buying into all this radical political correctness foolishness, identity politics and the ideology of victimization, and even a war on the police based upon lies pushed by racebaiters like Al Sharpton as well as a cooperating liberal media.
