Powershift review 1

our take on the book review by The Futurist

(our site's take on a book review)

In this review of the Tofflers’ Powershift, the magazine The Futurist finds this book fascinating and highly browsable, with something to learn on every page. It seems odd, however, since the review also talks about the Tofflers’ two earlier blockbusters—Future Shock and The Third Wave, that it doesn’t mention the dramatic effect these books have had on our world, influencing people and decisions at the highest level. Not many books can say this. And yet the Futurist didn’t mention it. Perhaps they are somehow unaware of these facts. That would say much more about their publication than about the Tofflers.
