From Shadow Party to Shadow Government: George Soros and the Effort to Radically Change America
a book by John Perazzo and David Horowitz
(our site's book review)
From Shadow Party to Shadow Government: George Soros and the Effort to Radically Change America examines intellectual and philanthropist George Soros’ network of leftwing political organizations, through which he has been able to exercise unparalleled influence over the past twenty years. He's like a liberal Koch. He has funded scores of anti-Trump organizations. Since David Horowitz wrote The Shadow Party in 2007, there has been a major breakthrough in the progression of Soros’ plan to racially change American institutions. Soros has succeeded in subverting and taking over the Democratic Party itself (which will be great if he can prevent them from continuing down the neocon path Dubya and Obama put them on). In Horowitz's not-very-objective opinion, Soros has carefully hidden his radical goals under the cloak of his philanthropy. Horowitz and John Perazzo attempt to expose Soros’ radical agenda in this booklet and attempt to show how his philanthropies actually work to advance his leftwing causes. Understanding the Soros agenda is critical for understanding and defeating the Obama agenda, because they have, in effect, become one and the same. However, Obama will not be pushing agendas any longer since the 2016 election is over, it is 2017, and we are FINALLY rid of the man—the worst president in history.
We've been led down the garden path, failing to see that continuing down the neocon path Dubya and Obama put us on leads to a sinkhole up ahead on this path—and it's miles deep
In open societies, the government is expected to be responsive and tolerant, and political mechanisms are said to be transparent and flexible. Advocates claim that it is opposed to authoritarianism. See The Guru Papers: Masks of Authoritarian Power and A Dream Deferred. Soros is a strong believer in open society, as are we. Soros argues that besides the requirements for the separation of powers, free speech, and free elections, we also need to make explicit a strong commitment to the pursuit of truth as opposed to the propaganda the U.S. mainstream media feeds us. "Politicians will respect, rather than manipulate, reality only if the public cares about the truth and punishes politicians when it catches them in deliberate deception." See Lies, Incorporated: The World of Post-Truth Politics.

Barack Obama has based his plan of "fundamentally transforming the United States of America" upon the work of Saul Alinsky, a man of true evil intent, who dedicated his first book to Lucifer. George Soros—Obama's main supporter—wants One World Government (according to the authors), open borders, forced redistribution of wealth, drug legalization, and universal health care that denies life saving procedures to the hopelessly ill and dying elderly. Soros—Obama's puppet master—is determined to change America forever by disallowing it's sovereignty and it's ability to defend itself. He sees himself (according to the authors) as the savior of the world and the prophet of a Utopia that strips countries of their individual identity. He'd promised to support Hillary in 2008, but stabbed her in the back by getting behind Obama instead, cinching the nomination—a terrible mistake, in our opinion.
Soros—Obama's puppet master
Some feel that Soros and his adherents are an enormous threat to American Democracy and sovereignty as long as they control the Democratic Party. The reason conservatives hate him, rather than worship him like every other wealthy white man, is he funded MoveOn.org which went against the Bush administration's insane neocon empire building wet dream with young Americans playing the part of cannon fodder in Bush/Obama's illegal wars. Since most of us intelligent American patriots are against the Bush administration's insane neocon empire building wet dream as well, we support this action of Soros, even if he has wacky ideas about being the prophet of a Utopia that strips countries of their individual identity. We also support his anti-Trump pro-Hillary actions for the 2016 election, as well as his contention that the main problems of the contemporary world are global energy crisis, global warming and nuclear proliferation.

In his 2006 book The Age of Fallibility, Soros writes, “The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States. [This idea] happens to coincide with the prevailing opinion in the world. And I think that's rather shocking for Americans to hear.” More Soros: "The United States continues to set the agenda for the world in spite of its loss of influence since 9/11, and the Bush administration is setting the wrong agenda. The Bush agenda is nationalistic: it emphasizes the use of force and ignores global problems whose solution requires international cooperation. The rest of the world dances to the tune the United States is playing, and if that continues too long we are in danger of destroying our civilization. Changing the attitude and policies of the United States remains my top priority."
9/11 terrorist attack
The reason it's shocking for Americans to hear that the USA is in the way of world stability and the rest of the world agrees with Soros has to do with the steady diet of propaganda we've been getting for many decades. The mainstream media is prevented from exposing to its viewers the attiudes of other countries. Such exposure would make citizens start to question U.S. foreign policy and to the shadow government in control in this country, that is not allowed. Citizens mostly feel they are getting the full story. They are not—our news is censored and managed. Citizens feel we have a free press and a democracy. We have neither. See Freedom of the Press—an American Delusion and Democracy—an American Delusion.
The only certain, irrefutable, perpetual and insidious bias in reporting comes from the neocon elites themselves, which make an all-out effort to stay covert and invisible to the unsuspecting citizen
If you really believe the mainstream press is free to report what it wants, we have a bridge we'd like to sell you (George C. Parker sold the Brooklyn Bridge twice a week for 30 years)
No wonder the public seems so confused and nothing ever changes. They're choking on misinformation that comes their way via political manipulation of citizens and via the Culture War!
Soros is entirely correct about the main obstacle to a stable and just world order being the United States—in spite of some of the erroneous attitudes and ideas he also holds, he's dead on about neocon Dubya. Soros announced in 2003 that it is necessary to “puncture the bubble of American supremacy.” This too makes sense, in the same context—especially since the war on terror is creating ten times as much terror as it's stopping. Soros says that "America has become a feel-good society unwilling to face unpleasant reality. That is why the public could be so grievously misled by the Bush administration." So, then, Soros is a mixed bag of socialist malarkey, bad associations (Obama), social engineering poppycock and globalism, and yet his analysis of Bush's phoney war on terror is astute.
Soros is 100% correct in this statement as well: "It is the power of attraction — soft power — that ensures the stability of empires. Hard power may be needed for conquest and self-protection, but the hegemon must look after the interests of those who depend on it in order to secure their allegiance instead of promoting only its own interests." You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. See Powershift and A Dream Deferred and The Forest Through The Trees.
We've tried war many times and it failed—why not give peace a chance?
The USA has tried murder, assassinations, mass slaughter, lying, hate, misinformation, threatening and bombing to achieve its stated goals of peace, stability, democratization, and cooperation. All these methods have failed. And yet the USA keeps using these same failed strategies over and over always expecting a different result. There are two possible explanations for this. One, our leaders are insane. Or two, the stated goals of elected leaders are not the same as the actual goals of the shadow government who is in control in the U.S. We favor explanation Two, even though our leaders do seem a bit crazy at times.

Soros also says that "America has fallen into the hands of extremist ideologues, led by Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, who believe that the truth can be successfully manipulated. They have successfully manipulated a born-again president and a feel-good public. But there is a reality that exceeds their comprehension and that has rendered their policies counterproductive. The root cause of the trouble is a false metaphor, the war on terror. It has done terrible damage to our standing in the world and endangered our open society at home; yet it is still generally accepted as the natural response to 9/11. I detail the damage and argue that it is largely self-inflicted by the willful misinterpretation of reality. We cannot start repairing the damage until we repudiate the false metaphor of the war on terror. We must do more than just revert to the policies we pursued prior to 9/11. We must recognize that as the dominant power in the world we have a special responsibility. In addition to protecting our national interests, we must take the leadership in protecting the common interests of humanity." This is wise thinking. Like we say, Soros is an unusual mixed bag of good sense and malarkey.
