Black Eye for America: How Critical Race Theory Is Burning Down the House
a book by Carol Swain and Christopher J. Schorr
(our site's book review)
The Amazon blurb says that In schools and workplaces across the United States, Americans are being indoctrinated with a divisive, anti-American ideology: Critical Race Theory (CRT). Based in cultural Marxism, CRT bullies and demonizes whites while infantilizing and denying agency to blacks, creating a deep racial rift. As Abraham Lincoln famously observed, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." CRT aims to divide the American nation against itself and burn down the house.

Critical Race Theory (CRT) aims to divide the American nation against itself and burn down the house
In Black Eye for America: How Critical Race Theory Is Burning Down the House, Carol Swain and Christopher Schorr expose the true nature of Critical Race Theory, and they offer concrete solutions for taking back the country's stolen institutions. They describe CRT in theory and practice, accounting for its origins and weaponization within American schools and workplaces; explain how this ideology threatens traditional American values and legal doctrines, including civil rights; and equip everyday Americans with strategies to help them resist and defeat CRT's pernicious influence.

Martin Luther King told us to judge according to the content of people's character, not the color of their skin; conservatives agree, but the Leftists DO—regressively—judge by skin color
Carol Swain (PhD) is an award-winning political scientist and former tenured professor at Princeton and Vanderbilt Universities. She is the author or editor of 10 books, including Be the People: A Call to Reclaim America's Faith and Promise and The New White Nationalism in America: Its Challenge to Integration.
Christopher Schorr holds a PhD in American Government from Georgetown University. His dissertation ("White Nationalism and its Challenge to the American Right") considers factors that risk mainstreaming white nationalist politics in the United States, including Critical Race Theory.

Declaration of Independence says that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, while CRT divides us worse than back in segregation times
"The misguided ideology of Critical Race Theory is corrupting our institutions, dividing Americans by race, and pitting them against one another based on that arbitrary characteristic. So, the American people are faced with a choice: do the better angels of our nature unite and guide the country back toward the ideals of the Declaration of Independence, that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights? Or do we succumb to the forces of darkness and division, which will lead to further social conflict in a nation that cannot afford to be any more divided?"
"There is only one just outcome in this fight. Our only option is to treat people as individuals, with their race being only one characteristic of the complex web of traits that makes up who they are, and an unimportant one at that. But Critical Race Theory does not allow this; in fact, it requires the opposite. For Critical Race Theory, the only characteristic that matters is a person’s race. And individuals are not individuals, but members of racial groups who are only judged collectively as a racial group."

Critical Race Theory advocates are gaining strength, indoctrinating our children, and infiltrating institutions at an alarming rate
"Any difference between racial groups are exclusively the result of racism [say liberal activists and race baiters], as opposed to any other factor. But just because there is only one just outcome does not mean that outcome will prevail. While the premises of Critical Race Theory are self-evidently false, both in theory and in fact, Critical Race Theory remains on the march. Its advocates are gaining strength, indoctrinating our children, and infiltrating institutions at an alarming rate. The forces fighting for the just outcome are on the defensive. This book and its authors are needed allies in this battle."

Karl Marx was a smart man with a lot of dumb ideas, and he stupidly laid these untested theories on innocent cultures that were naive enough to take his ideas seriously
The authors say "In simple terms, CRT views American society and government through a Marxist analytical lens, emphasizing group power and group conflict. Readers might be familiar with the standard Marxist worldview wherein the social order is defined by the oppression of workers (the “proletariat”) by the capitalist classes (the “bourgeoisie”). From this vantage point, social institutions—economic, social, security, religious, cultural, etc.—are all described as elements of capitalist oppression. Marxists consequently advocate upending the social order and reconstituting societv along socialist lines."

Critical Race Theory is the antithesis of every beautiful idea in the American and Western worlds
"To fight evil ideas, a society needs people with intelligence and courage. Without the latter, civilization as we know it will simply disintegrate. That is why Black Eye for America is so important: the authors combine equal amounts of intelligence and courage. If you want to understand Critical Race Theory and most importantly, why it is the antithesis of every beautiful idea in the American and Western worlds, read this book." "Critical race theory is attempting to revive racial prejudice, perverting justice and using discrimination as a social weapon. Carol Swain and Christopher Schorr’s book is exactly what Americans need to understand the threat critical race theory poses to all of us—and to help individuals, families, and communities chart a course to the American Dream." What is the status of the racial part of the U.S. culture war? The picture says it all
"“Black Eye for America” examines the connection between critical race theory and communist ideology.
"The book’s section on lawsuits is too short, I believe, but absolutely necessary for readers to fully understand how CRT undermines traditional values. Here are examples of actions that the authors mention, which precipitated lawsuits. In one case, white employees were instructed to “step back and yield to colleagues of color” as well as to view their own culture as “inherently supremacist.”
"In Illinois, seventh- and eighth-grade students were told to remain silent and to lower their eyes—a gesture of submission—while being addressed by their CRT instructor.
"In New York City, white employees were told by instructors that their racial identity is “toxicity in the air.”
"In Nevada, a 12th grader was required to announce and degrade aspects of his identity, including his Christian faith." (Source: , Linda Wiegenfeld, the Epoch Times)

Blacks have been told so often the lie that they are being victimized by racist whites that the blacks get mad and want to do some victimizing of their own
The sad truth about Critical Race Theory is that while it pretends to make our culture less racist, it hypocritically makes it much more racist. More than merely divisive or polarizing, it is cultural suicide—Marxist style, answering the question "How can a society transform from freedom, capitalism and democracy to Marxism, authoritarianism, and socialism where a few leaders get the wealth and power while the people suffer, fondly recalling the good old days?"
Mostly, blacks are taught to hate and resent nonblacks, and the next thing to happen then—predictably—is skyrocketing crime rates mostly in big Democrat-controlled cities, since the blacks have been told so often the lie that they are being victimized by racist whites that the blacks get mad and want to do some victimizing of their own. Of course, only naive blacks who let liberal elites and race baiters like Al Sharpton do their thinking for them buy the victim nonsense. Thinkers see how the liberal elites and race baiters are using them—exploiting them for their own benefit to increase their power—and they refuse to buy into the bull excrement liberals, academics, and the mainstream media spread and they often end up as conservatives as a shelter from the crap storm. See 'Don't Make the Black Kids Angry': The hoax of black victimization and those who enable it.

Socialism is nothing but communism on a slow train and none of the passengers are happy
All of this sudden love of Marxism, communism and socialism suggests conspiracy, espionage, treason, insurrection and sedition is occurring which may or may not be managed by Russian or Chinese spies. It's no coincidence that all this commie love exactly fits how Russian or Chinese people feel about their government (due to constant propaganda). It's no coincidence that all this commie love exactly fits how Russian or Chinese leaders want us to feel. When we show the world how much better democracy and freedom are, they cancel broadcasts and blacklist channels, websites and blogs so only government propaganda is available.
Vladimir Putin with Xi Jinping during a state visit to Moscow in May 2015.
But they cannot do that (cancel broadcasts and blacklist channels) with OUR broadcasts. So they infiltrate our colleges and other organizations, and they lobby us—succesfully influence legislation on behalf of a special interest or a member of a lobby, without letting on that they represent foreign governments. The huge socialism/communism movement in the U.S. shows just how vulnerable our children/students are to Marxist professors in elite liberal colleges who teach CRT, socialism, and anti-Americanism.
How much of this commie anti-Americanism comes from thinking about socialism and how much comes from foreign influences? Who can say? This is the weakness of an open system that allow anyone—and their ideas—into the society.
