Imagine A World Of Wanted/Nurtured Children
a booklet by Karl Puechl and Kathy Schmitt, eds.
(our site's booklet review)
An organization in California called Wanted Children is extremely supportive of a woman’s right to choose abortion for unwanted conceptions. Its main spokesperson is J.C. Bernard. The pamphlet they produce shows statistics that convincingly demonstrate that crime, abuse, and negligence have been reduced by 10.3 percent from 1992 to 1997 as a result of the 1973 Roe v Wade decision and birth control pills. The unwanted kids who were never born (to turn into criminals) are the main factor in the reduction in the incidence of these social problems, since the angry, alienated, disaffected 18- to 24-year-olds that would have been born otherwise were spared this negative and tragic life experience. The nationwide crime decline cannot be explained by any change in law enforcement tactics. Unwanted crack babies often run up hospital costs of $100,000 and more, and cost society many times this when such individuals grow up and become criminally active.

Women and couples must make their own procreation decisions. The state must not make these decisions. We emphatically do not need the social engineers to legislate morality on top of all the rest of their regulatory and legislative excesses.
The author has been in law enforcement all his life. He says: “It would be a great leap for mankind if we could stop the social formula that produces criminals and replace it with a formula for healthy child development.”
(Of course, we believe that abortion should virtually cease once the MC movement has changed haphazard parenting and steep-gradient nurturing habits of society, and that no other way of stopping abortion is fair, just, or wise. We believe that women having babies they don’t want hurts everyone involved, including the society, and it is incredibly expensive and degrades the life quality of us all. We also believe that there are too many people in the world for it be peaceful, healthy or happy. MC responsibility ethics/habits and effective birth control methods when chosen and appropriate are a benign solution for both the overpopulation problem and the abortion problem. Other ways are much less desirable and must less just. People threatening, forcing, brainwashing, shaming or tricking other people into having unwanted babies, and church interference in the worldwide effort to control population are unproductive and inappropriate strategies, and clinic bombing and doctor harassment are the actions of despicable cowards.)

The Earth is full! — there are too many people in the world for it be peaceful, healthy or happy

The Pope needs to rethink the idea that covering the earth with a layer of squirming humanity twenty feet deep will demonstrate the 'glory of God' (rather than the stupidity of humans)!
