Planning Our Destiny
an article in Th Futurist by Graham H. May
(our site's article review)
Reviews the book The Future Is Ours: Foreseeing, Managing, and Creating the Future by Graham H. May. May says that the future is created, not preordained. The embarrassment here is that many people seem to need to be reminded of this obvious fact. Like the Tofflers, he advocates actively shaping our future. He even refers to the Tofflers as sources to entice people to think about tomorrow. May’s book, The Future Is Ours: Foreseeing, Managing, and Creating the Future, is a college textbook for business, management, urban planning and other types of students.
