Red, White, and Black: Rescuing American History from Revisionists and Race Hustlers
a book by Robert L. Woodson Sr.
(our site's book review)
The Amazon blurb says that An indispensable corrective to the falsified version of black history presented by The 1619 Project, radical activists, and money-hungry “diversity consultants.”

According to the new anti-American orthodoxy, the United States was founded as a racist nation—and everything that has happened throughout our history must be viewed through the lens of the systemic oppression of black people, and the Founders are liars, fakes, and racist frauds!
In the rush to redefine the place of black Americans in contemporary society, many radical activists and academics have mounted a campaign to destroy traditional American history and replace it with a politicized version that few would recognize. According to the new radical orthodoxy, the United States was founded as a racist nation—and everything that has happened throughout our history must be viewed through the lens of the systemic oppression of black people.

Many radical activists and academics have mounted a campaign to destroy traditional American history and replace it with a politicized version that is a lie that liberal elites are using to gain power—so they are rewriting history books like they did in Orwell's 1984
Rejecting this false narrative, a collection of the most prominent and respected black scholars and thinkers has come together to correct the record and tell the true story of black Americans in all its complexity, diversity of experience, and poignancy.

It is the liberal narrative the victimized minorities are oppressed by and victimized by
Let us be clear, once and for all, what our oppressed, victimized minorities are oppressed by and victimized by. White supremacists? Rarely. The systematic racism running rampant in our culture (according to lying race hustlers)? It isn't and they aren't. It is the liberal narrative the victimized minorities are oppressed by and victimized by. The Biden administration gives citizens more money than they need, getting them used to dependency on government, and they all cease looking for jobs, since the unemployment benefits are more than they could earn if employed. Little companies go under since there are no workers available to hire. The little companies' owners sign up for unemployment benefits—they are now dependent on government handouts. It is the liberal narrative that led to their victimization.

Then government, academia, Hollyweird, and the liberal media get together and push lies about racism until the blacks, liberal activists and Antifa thugs start burning down cities and the mayors and cops stand by, approving of this Black Lives Matter madness
Then government, academia, Hollyweird, and the liberal media get together and push lies about racism until the blacks, liberal activists and Antifa thugs start burning down cities and the mayors and cops stand by, approving of this Black Lives Matter madness. All the leftist-wrecked and leftist-looted businesses have no choice but to join the unemployment lines—they are now dependent on government handouts. This is socialism at work—wreck capitalism, disempower citizens who stop believing in the American Dream and start believing in the government gods to "take care of them." Ask the Venezuelian socialists how that is working out for them. Hint: most citizens are starving and leaving the country as the wealthy elites greedily take everything for themselves.

All the leftist-wrecked and leftist-looted businesses have no choice but to join the unemployment lines (where they'll wait with college grads with degrees in Gender Studies and other worthless crap, and who are eager to discuss racist Republicans even though they aren't—but liberal leftists are)—they are now all dependent on government handouts
Meanwhile, on a happier note, Woodson says that "1776 Unites maintains a special focus on voices in the black community who celebrate black excellence and reject victimhood culture and showcases the millions of black Americans who have prospered by embracing the founding ideals of America. See The 1776 Report by The President’s Advisory 1776 Commission.
"We are intellectuals and journalists, entrepreneurs and grassroots activists, celebrating the progress America has made, the resilience of its people, and our future together. We seek decisive action in restoring our people’s confidence . . .
"Frederick Douglass never denied that white Americans needed to remove “the barriers to our improvement, which themselves have set up,” but he consistently emphasized
that “the main work must be commenced, must be carried on, and concluded by ourselves.” He exhorted black Americans to cultivate character above all else. It not only elevated a man but also helped to undercut color prejudice against him.
This required a moral effort on the part of
black people precisely because it was required
of all people. The key to liberation, Douglass
never tired of proclaiming, lay within each
person. To be sure, government has a role to
play, but even the most robust efforts by government to protect the citizenry would avail them little if they themselves did not use
their freedom to develop their natural human capacity. This has always been the purpose of education, and the essays in Red,
White, and Black illustrate many essential
ways that appealing to the minds and hearts
of black people, and not to their color, offers
the formula for success.

As Martin Luther King constantly proclaimed, people should be judged by the quality of their character, not the color of their skin
Few of the black citizens in the U.S. are victims of anything except racebaiters like Al Sharpton who keep this issue alive to enhance their own power. The way things are going is a vote for creating separate black and white universities so blacks no longer need to put up with having whites around dripping with white skin privilege (in black minds) and whites no longer need to put up with having blacks around complaining about their every expression, word, and microexpression. Finally, ACTUAL LEARNING could resume!

The fascist propaganda the young get in colleges is vile, wrong, and anti-American
Community activist Robert L. “Bob” Woodson has devoted his career to helping low-income people transcend their impoverished conditions. Woodson has used his own rise from poverty to assist him as the founder and president of the National Center for Neighborhood Enterprise (NCNE). After working for the National Urban League, Woodson became a research fellow with the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), where he learned effective techniques for self-empowerment. Woodson left AEI in 1981 to create NCNE, a grassroots research and demonstration program emphasizing the importance of empowerment and self-management as effective approaches for ending poverty. Woodson received a prestigious “Genius Grant” from the MacArthur Foundation in 1990. He sits on the boards of the American Association of Enterprise Zones, the Commission on National and Community Service, and the Commonwealth Foundation. Woodson has also written extensively on issues of poverty and empowerment including his books, Lessons From the Least of These and The Triumphs of Joseph: How Today's Community Healers are Reviving Our Streets and Neighborhoods.
Note: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, the only current black Justice, wisely and rightly opposes affirmative action. He believes the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment forbids consideration of race, such as race-based affirmative action or preferential treatment. He also believes it creates "a cult of victimization" and implies blacks require "special treatment in order to succeed". He took the words right out of our mouths. Nearly 2/3 of whites polled wished for all this anti-white racism to discontinue, since the way "affirmative action" is implemented screws them unfairly out of money, scholarships, and jobs.

Barack Obama used IRS audits to punish his political enemies, which is an impeachable offense. His administration was overrun with flagrant cronyism and corruption. He lied often. He promoted racism disguised as giving blacks even more black-skin privileges and he encouraged racebaiters like Al Sharpton.

Obama wants you to believe I AM NOT A CROOK, but you know better!
"A nation that respects individual rights and protects individual freedom cannot be sustained if there is one standard for black and another for white; one for rich and another for poor. It can only be sustained by a single standard: one law and one justice for all."—David Horowitz

For all the conservatives who've been paying attention, 2016-2021 was little more than a 4-year tantrum of the left, the woke, the liberals, and the radical activists, who acted less like thinking humans and more like brats who didn't get their own way, kind of like a permanent return to frustrated toddlerhood
"An ugly, vicious intolerance spread on social media; the collapse of norms once considered sacred; a crass narrow-mindedness surreally celebrated by some of this country’s most powerful institutions—these are all elements in the gathering storm of a new, distinctly American fascism. The twist is that this crisis has its source, she contends, not in the person of Trump, but in his frothing-mouthed opposition: the left." "After the New York Times published its “1619 Project”—which posits that America’s true founding was not 1776 but 1619, the year African slaves arrived in Virginia, and that the American Revolution was fought primarily to preserve slavery—[Woodson] became incensed. Not only was it junk history, but it would be disseminated through school curriculums in the name of helping blacks. Mr. Woodson [a black man] responded by initiating his own project, “1776 Unites,” which enlisted a group of black scholars, journalists and social activists “who uphold the true origins of our nation and the principles through which its founding promise can be fulfilled.” See 1620: A Critical Response to the 1619 Project.

If our Founders could see the Marxist Democrats trying to convince America to switch to socialism and dump its rights and Constitution, they'd turn over in their graves
"Last week, Mr. Woodson released “Red, White and Black: Rescuing American History from Revisionists and Race Hustlers.” The book is a collection of essays by 1776 Unites participants, and its publication is a public service. In one essay, the Rev. Corey Brooks, who runs a gang-intervention and prisoner re-entry program in Chicago, knocks the 1619 Project’s “over-emphasis on slavery as the defining institution before and during our nation’s founding.” He adds: “The writers who participated in the project jettisoned facts in favor of a fictitious recounting of why our Founders formed a new nation.”" (Source: Opinion | Correcting 1619’s Falsehoods About the American Founding, Jason L. Riley, Wall Street Journal)

The 1619 Project is a call for dumbing ourselves down in the name of a moral crusade, which is really a lying political manipulation to gain power for the liberal elites, using the 'racist America' nonsense as a distraction

As David Freddoso says, "Today, the entire Left has lost its mind in its embrace of critical race theory, an ideology premised upon the idea that the civil rights movement failed and we effectively still live in the Jim Crow era. . . . Obviously, no living person experienced the race-based chattel slavery that characterized the antebellum South. Yet the delusion of critical race theory, that things are as bad as they ever were, suffuses contemporary academia and passes for a serious school of thought."

"Page writes that the myopic focus on the oppression of black people is depriving them of agency. It degrades and casts aside the great accomplishments of what he calls “black overcoming.” “We must disrupt the long-held stereotypes of black people as helpless bystanders in their own history,” he writes. It is incredible that such common sense cuts so sharply against the grain today." (Source: BOOK REVIEW: Red, White, and Black: Rescuing American History from Revisionists and Race Hustlers, David Freddoso, Washington Examiner)

Critical Race Theory casts Martin Luther King and the entire pantheon of civil rights history as dupes and failures. So, it is no surprise that, in schools and on college campuses everywhere, they are now attempting to undo their work and reintroduce racial segregation—apparently the amazing progress of Civil Rights is a delusion!
Woodson very astutely debunks the ludicrous myth that slavery is somehow the cause of present-day disparities and injustices. If you convince people they are victims and define blacks by their failures and present a convenient scapegoat in the "evil white oppressors," the blacks get mad at innocent whites that have no part in black problems, finding microaggressions and racism everywhere. Society and schools and teachers and friends and movies and TV and the news all speak with one voice: blacks are the victims of white privilege, white supremacists, and white oppressors. Blacks have little choice but to sit around idly waiting to see how much they can get from this white guilt bonanza of shame and (hopefully) reparations. All thoughts of developing good character, a good work ethic, and acting with ambition and enthusiasm to make something of themselves are discarded in a cloud of self pity, anger, and pathetic feelings of being deserving of reparations.

Thank you Robert L. Woodson for shining a light on the racebaiters and con men that stand behind the 1619 Project and the criminal intent of Critical Race Theory
