A world of Bangladeshes, Cairos, and Mexico Cities is not a very promising one. . . . What we need, finally, is for the Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Humanists, Muslims, Hindus, and all others of good will to work together to contain these destructive fundamentalisms. Do we really have any other choice?”
