The expectation in this 1995 editorial is that wireless technology will grow rapidly into the next century. There will be more affordable cellular phones, personal digital assistants, etc., driven by more low-orbit satellites. This was a pretty easy prediction to make, but omnipresent cell phones and computers and Internet access, iPods, iPads, Facebook, and Google—these were not predicted. Wireless predictions hit the nail on the head, of course.
