Good News and Bad News
an article by our site
*Cliff: It is a fact that there are at least a dozen ways the U.S. can be ruined and it's obvious we'd have a ruinously violent response to it, nuking some or all of the Middle East--hello WWIII (nuclear war). It is also a fact that not just ISIS but thousands of terrorists want very badly to ruin the U.S. The War on Terror is creating 10 new terrorists or ISIS recruits for every terrorist we kill. Many of these enemies have little if any lifewish and they'd be happy to die themselves as long as we died too (worldwide smallpox epidemic). Examples of ways to ruin us: spread smallpox or engineered super-viruses or anthrax all over our country all at once, sneak in one small EMP nuke in pieces and assemble it and explode it over mid-U.S. a mere 300 miles up which would set us back to the 1800s, poison our food and/or water supplies, explode dozens of dirty bombs all over the U.S., use cyber-terrorism combined with standard terror tactics to wreck the Internet unfixably, and utilize cyber-warfare to take down the electrical grid and keep doing this as we're trying to fix it. We can expect one or more of these to occur soon since their deep desire to ruin us will lead them to find a way to do so sooner, not later. Keep in mind that only blind luck has prevented them from ruining us so far! The U.S. running all over Earth attacking whoever we want (Iraq/Afghanistan) has made most countries hate us and created, as a reaction to U.S. actions, tens of thousands of terrorists (some of which are resourceful and smart) who wish to totally destroy our people and our country. How long can blind luck save us?!

The bad news is that we're all about to go over a cliff together
The good news is that there IS a way to alter our course as long as we get going on it soon and don't wait until it's too late. Obviously it won't be easy and there is no quick fix. There's not even a slow fix if we rely on any or all of the methods mentioned at the start of this article. But a slow fix exists if the United States—first—and the rest of the world—later—quits indulging in wishful thinking and blind trust in government, religion, common sense, life-wish, divine intervention, or luck to keep us safe. They won't.
We do NOT need government programs or ANY programs, or bailouts or social engineering or political salvationism to prevent the over-the-cliff scenario. In fact, we need our government to keep its mitts off of the solution.

In fact, we need our government to keep its mitts off of the solution
Obviously, most people in the U.S. will be uninvolved in the solution at first. Only early adopters will be involved—those with the vision to see what's at stake. But once early adopters succeed at their part and non-adopters see what they're missing, the movement will see a rapid rise in participation. Common to all humans is the desire to have a life that works. When non-adopters see how well the early adopters' lives are working, they will join in on the lifestyle enhancement and become happier people. Eventually, most of the U.S. will be participating.

The world has seen the U.S. acting like a bull in a china shop for half a century, and most of the other countries have learned to either hate us or at least distrust us
Other Western nations will see what we're doing and be very pleased—since they are not too pleased with us and the way we have—since the Vietnam War—tried to solve most problems with violence and threats, which mostly precipitated a violent response, not capitulation. The War on Terror has mostly just increased terrorism and hatred for the West—especially the U.S. The War on Drugs was and is a failure that mostly made things worse. The U.S. has shown great willingness to be the world's policeman. Yet the U.S. hasn't the wisdom to know how to do such a thing effectively. Besides, who elected us? We elected ourselves. The world has seen the U.S. acting like a bull in a china shop for half a century, and most of the other countries have learned to either hate us or at least distrust us.

The U.S. War on Drugs was/is a failure that mostly made things worse
Again, the other Western nations will see what we're doing and be very pleased with our lifestyle enhancement. They'll understand that we are wising up. We get it that violence and threats have almost totally backfired ever since we honestly needed such things in WWII. The other Western nations will like the way we will become a force for peace and cooperation in the world. The terrorists whose goal is to stop the Evil Satan (us) from forcing our views on other countries will see that they need not destroy us after all. We stopped ourselves from continuing to act in our normally violent ways.

The terrorists whose goal is to stop the Evil Satan (us) from forcing our views on other countries will see that they need not destroy us after all—we stopped ourselves
So the other Western nations will see how our new lifestyle enhancement movement is reflected not just in our lifestyles, but in our attitudes and our media products. The products had previously been drenched in violence, hate, sleaziness, and immorality of all kinds. Yet now they're about love, cooperation, peacemaking, understanding, and lifestyle enhancement. We seem to have matured beyond the quick buck, the cheap thrill, and the quick trigger finger. We seem to have evolved into more fully human beings. The terrorists cease their terror tactics, since there's a lot to like about the new U.S. attitude, and little to hate.
So the other Western nations will adopt our new lifestyle enhancement movement as something to do in their nations. Even places like China will allow the new lifestyle to flourish there as long as it doesn't clash with their Communist rule—the same response they've had to capitalism. There will be many places that can only adopt part of our movement because there are engrained cultural and religious beliefs and ideas that prevent complete adoption. Even in the U.S., there will be beliefs that get in the way of complete adoption—at first (e.g., religious fundamentalists—especially extremists). But as the partial adopters start to understand all they are losing by holding onto counterproductive beliefs, said beliefs will slowly fade away. As we've stated, all humans desire a happy life. This slow dropping of counterproductive ideas in the U.S. by the partial adopters will be important for other countries to see. They will slowly do the same.
Of all countries, it will be the fundamentalist Islamic ones that are the last to see the light. The evidence before their eyes will support adoption, as they're human too—they too want a happy life. But many of these fundamentalist Muslims are trying their best to keep those of their faith back in the Thirteenth Century from a misguided sense of loyalty to their leaders and holy books. Such a rejection of all human science and progress obviously means that they're holding religion in an inappropriate context. Religion is meant to inspire spiritually, not shackle mercilessly and absolutely. If they succeeded in keeping everyone on Earth stuck back in the Thirteenth Century, everyone would be overcome by poverty, misery, disease, conflict, war, violence, no human rights, exploitation of the masses by leaders, and omnipresent ignorance. No matter how fundamentalist Muslims try to point back to these times as ones of glory, godliness, and righteousness, historians know that it was no such thing. It was mostly about suffering.

Many fundamentalist Muslims are trying their best to keep those of their faith back in the Thirteenth Century
The more that present day Muslims viewed others adopting viable enhanced lifestyles (U.S. first) that made them happy and created peace, understanding, and harmony, the less “glorious” pushing the world back to the incessant suffering of the Thirteenth Century would seem. It would be obvious that their focus on the violent, warmongering aspects of the Koran (they're really there, and they're in the Bible too), rather than the love and peace and compassion and cooperation aspects of the Koran, was merely creating misery for themselves and their families. Refocusing on the benevolent aspects that do not deny the right to enjoy progress would be an obvious transition to make, after which they, too, could enjoy the new movement begun in the West. No one would force them to make this change—no wars, threats, sanctions, or drone attacks whatsoever. Only their own hearts would lead them in this direction. Their spiritual selves would prompt them to make this lifestyle enhancement for their own families' good and the good of all humanity.
The solution (to cliff avoidance) has eluded us—and the rest of the world—because of so much irrational faith placed in authoritarianism. This has led to people being unable to think for themselves, democracies failing or at minimum being corrupted by oligarchies and/or corporatocracies, inadequate parenting and relationship failures, win-lose mindsets that have trouble cooperating, and inadequate or warped character development, to name but a few. It has led to exploitation of the many by the few, whether in dictatorships, corrupt kleptocracies, tyrannical communist rule, religious nationalism, military control, or pseudo-democracies whose real power rests with their oligarchies and corporatocracies, not with the people (like in true democracies, which are supposed to be “by the people and for the people”). The best example of such a corrupted democracy is, we're sad to say, the United States of America. The result of all this authoritarianism is that human rights and freedoms are compromised, parenting is subpar, abuse is common, character formation goes awry, and the symptoms of dysfunctionality are everywhere.

The U.S. is a good example of a democracy failing to serve the people any longer as it gets corrupted by the oligarchy and the corporatocracy it serves—the pushmi-pullyu is a good metaphor for the two parties' gridlocked paralysis, which the oligarchies love, since they profit more when no one rocks the boat
We're aware of the need for some authoritarianism in our world, past and present. The military needs it in some, but not all contexts. In past centuries, parents have needed it for dealing with children and hired help. But in the 21st century advanced countries do NOT need it—in fact they need to strenuously avoid it—in parenting and friendship relationships. Rulers and leaders have needed it and still do, in some cases. Religious organizations have needed it and still do, in some cases. People who believe in deities feel they need to acknowledge the authority of their god or gods and the holy books written in their names. But people need to learn to keep authoritarianism in its place—something which rarely happens anywhere.
Huge social, cultural, logical, and relationship errors are being made by misunderstanding the proper place for authoritarianism in two main areas: holy books and parenting.
When holy books were written, fathers as authoritarian rulers of the home were important for effective living. Even as late as the middle of last century, fathers (or mothers) as authoritarian leaders of homes were needed for effective living on farms. In some less developed cultures, this is still true even in the 21st century. So it makes perfect sense that holy books would reflect the support for fathers as authoritarian rulers of the home who wanted to be obeyed, and the words that apostles would write after being spiritually inspired to write their version of God's word would reflect this idea.

Parenting is being inadvertently corrupted by misused holy books
How could we expect a book, regardless of who was inspiring it, to say that “it is expected that history and knowledge will stand still for infinity so use this book and every word in it as the absolute authority on all subjects forever; and please ignore that there are many parts of this book where we contradict what we say in other parts of this book; and if anything ever shows later in history that something in this book is totally wrong, believe the book, not the embarrassing facts discovered in the future.” (“The world being created in 6 days” comes to mind, as one of the proven errors and impossibilities.)
And how could we expect a book, regardless of who was inspiring it, to say that “it is expected that history and knowledge will NOT stand still for infinity so in the 4th century, replace the words on page 234-235 with “sorry, who knew that was coming?” and in the 17th century, replace the words on page 1147-1151 with “sorry, who knew that was coming?” and in the 19th century, replace all the ridiculous impossibilities with whatever seems appropriate, and in the 21st century which has benefited from so much scientific progress, replace all the advice to keep fathers (or mothers) as rulers of the home forever with the obvious-in-the-future fact that in advanced cultures, such an idea is about the worst advice imaginable if families are going to be happy and have good, fair, loving relationships.” (The list goes on and on, of course.)
The problem is that—as many before us have noted—if a book is to be seen as a serious reference book rather than just a collection of stories and philosophers' ideas, it needs to be dynamic, not static. (For instance, the Internet is a good, dynamic reference source; e.g., Wikipedia, and http://www.thebiganswer.info/. But http://www.britannica.com/ is less good—there's way too much info to keep up with. And the book versions of Encyclopedia Britannica are hopelessly obsolete.)
Holy books need to change appropriately as the march of progress makes some things in them silly and obviously impossible and other things, like advocating child abuse (yes—that's there too), outrageously inappropriate. But how could such a thing be done?
The first thing to remember is that for most of history, there were no written languages or books. For millennia, people passed on religious traditions orally, and when fire was invented (still no books—it was over 400,000 years ago) many tales were edited to include fire. (Simple religious beliefs originated somewhere between 500,000 and 50,000 years ago, but writing and books originated only 5,000 years ago.)
So holy books, in order to be blessings and not curses, need to be edited by the wisest people connected with that faith every time it is needed. Or go back to oral dissemination, which will work forever. Admit it, how many times have you cringed when you've heard about fundamentalist extremists attempting to stick Creationism into curricula in place of Evolution??!! Trying to throw out science and progress to please a few extremists is mind-numbingly foolish on every level, as well as being an embarrassment to the human race.
The most hated aspect of holy books by every person with a brain and a conscience who cares about children, nurturing, parenting, and relationships in general is the advice that parents punish kids physically. The “spare the rod or spoil the child” stuff can be rationalized away as “rods were used to guide sheep back then, not for hitting people.” True, but the Bible really does advise child abuse!

The Bible really does advise child abuse!
Prov 23:13: "Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die."
Prov 23:14: "Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell (Shoel)."
After seeing this, many a good parent has started beating his/her kids, in spite of modern childraising books, simply because the Bible recommends it and the Bible is supposed to be the word of God and “God is infallible.” Please ask yourself whether or not all of human science is wrong and therefore we should discard all books and use the Bible as our sole childraising manual, abuse advice and all! (The Koran has similar advice.) Holy books are a reflection of the times in which they were written, and need to be read in that spirit. They couldn't help it they were so ignorant (compared to modern mankind) that they thought child abuse was a fine idea. But we CAN stop allowing such obscenities to affect our thoughts and actions!
Books cannot be blamed for being so mercilessly permanent. (That's why we like online e-books: errors are easy to fix.) But people CAN be blamed for not updating them so that they SERVE humanity rather than CURSE humanity. We need new versions of holy books that correct the obvious misinformation, bad ideas, and impossibilities. Or start doing what our forbears did—pass on stories and ideas in the oral tradition.
So the first part of the solution (of cliff avoidance) is to pull away from the win-lose authoritarian mindset, except for where needed, as in some military contexts. (See http://www.thebiganswer.info/books/A-Dream-Deferred.php.) But since authoritarian mindsets are everywhere—omnipresent as the air we breathe—no one will know how to do this. So the only viable way to deal with this issue is to effect lifestyle changes that allow a slow transformation from win-lose, Second Wave authoritarianism to win-win, Third Wave (http://www.thebiganswer.info/books/The-Third-Wave.php) humanism. (And cease using holy books as childraising manuals. They are spiritual inspiration books, NOT childraising manuals!)
Authoritarian mindsets get created in childhood from authoritarian parental attitudes and authoritarian parenting tactics, so these need to be stopped. And authoritarianism in schools needs to be replaced as well, like they've done in Montessori schools. See http://www.thebiganswer.info/books/Beyond-Discipline.php and http://www.thebiganswer.info/books/How-Children-Fail.php and http://www.thebiganswer.info/books/Montessori-A-Modern-Approach.php.

Authoritarian mindsets get created in childhood from authoritarian parental attitudes and authoritarian parenting tactics—these need to be stopped
Many people have correctly and deeply felt that authoritarian parenting is bad parenting, but they react to these feelings by trying to parent with indulgent, permissive parenting, which is even worse than authoritarian parenting. All this is done without consulting any research. They have no knowledge—just feelings, instincts, hangups and beliefs obtained from well-meaning friends or articles written by people without real parenting knowledge—ANYONE can write opinion pieces. Credentials may or may not be relevant. (And “I raised five kids” is neither credentials nor real parenting knowledge, any more than “I nailed 2 boards together” makes you an architect—or even a carpenter!)
A shrink may write with a permissive agenda and a preacher may write with an authoritarian agenda. The religious right has made a habit of writing ludicrously biased articles and books trumpeting authoritarian parenting as the only good way and the only way smiled upon by God (as if the Bible was to be interpreted as a parenting manual!). Any of these writers may have advanced degrees or even be a professor at an Ivy League university.
But the truth about parenting doesn't evolve from degrees, agendas, or author credits. It comes from years of studying all the parenting methods, reading thousands of books and research papers, ferreting out agendas and biases, and finally lighting upon objective studies and research by those who truly understand how to conduct such things, like the author of The Big Answer and its novel The Forest Through The Trees. The jury is truly in—we DO know how to parent effectively. The science, studies and research have all spoken with one voice: ONLY authoritative democratic parenting is good parenting. All other methods are just stumbling blindly in the dark of bias, ignorance, and bad habits.
Has the scientific community reached a conclusion, based upon competent objective studies and research? Do they know the facts about truly effective parenting? Are they positive? Yes! ONLY authoritative democratic parenting is good parenting. (A website where you can find the information you need on such subjects is http://www.thebiganswer.info/. A webpage where you can learn which parenting methods are good is http://www.thebiganswer.info/Authoritative-Parenting-Programs.html.) And the millions of families who've practiced authoritative democratic parenting at home can attest to its validity. If they slip and revert to old, authoritarian or permissive parenting habits, their parenting suffers and their relationships with their children suffer as well. When they return to genuine authoritative parenting methods, the parenting again gets good results and feels good and fair to everyone, and their relationships with their children become effective, happy, and fulfilling once again.
This is Third Wave knowledge being not only known but applied. That is the key in the Third Wave: relying on applied knowledge as the power source of living right rather than coercion or bribes or wealth or threats or punishments (the current norm), all of which are lower quality power. Applied knowledge is the highest quality power, along with love and compassion.
Although knowledge is commonly applied in physics, chemistry, astronomy, etc., it is commonly not applied in sociological areas like parenting. There are too many biases, conservative think tanks, and religious right organizations that fight progress in parenting knowledge and its application, pushing their own holier-than-thou agenda instead. As you can imagine, they advocate child abuse in the form of spanking because it is in the Bible although that book calls it beating and says to use a rod. You can see why human progress is so stalled and we are stuck with what is called the cultural lag. Discovery of a new chemical compound results in this knowledge being applied where needed. But with more important things like childraising, things are abysmal. The extreme Right stops the teaching of good parenting anywhere and everywhere it can, keeps sex education out of schools anywhere and everywhere it can, and stops evolution education anywhere and everywhere it can. Their influence has caused many states to allow spanking in schools!
So parents get bad or mixed messages and are rarely taught good parenting in schools when they're younger or from the media when they're older. The media colludes with this befuddling of parenting knowledge by never having talk shows that have guests that teach good parenting without inviting other guests from the extremists who take the opposite point of view. This creates controversy and conflict and gets better ratings than the desperately needed clear message that tells how to do good parenting. With our culture suffering so much, why would they do such a thing, increasing the confusion and ignorance of parents all over the U.S.--parents who badly need educating? Two reasons: it sells more toothpaste and gets better ratings, both of which boil down to only one thing: money. This is a national tragedy.
The cultural scorecard is this: right-wing extremists have managed to keep most good parenting education out of schools and out of the media, and every time good parenting education ends up on ONE website or on a bookstore shelf or e-book catalog, right-wing extremists create TWO foolish, bigoted, biased websites or books or e-books pushing their anti-humanistic, erroneous, ignorant misinformation. Result: the majority of Americans spank their kids. The effect of this abuse is well-researched and is discussed in dozens of articles on http://www.thebiganswer.info/ (e.g., http://www.thebiganswer.info/books/Discipline-That-Works.php).
So the first step of the solution is for early adopters to reject authoritarianism in friend relationships and parenting.
One of the best parenting methods is P.E.T. (http://www.thebiganswer.info/books/PET-Parent-Effectiveness-Training.php). Its methods are good not only between parents and kids, but kids and kids, as well as adults and adults. See http://www.thebiganswer.info/Authoritative-Parenting-Programs.html for more methods. Once your family's lifestyle is enhanced by dumping authoritarianism and adopting Authoritative and Democratic Parenting Programs, you can set out to find others ready to enhance their families' lives in similar ways, using any of the Authoritative and Democratic Parenting Programs. Keep up communication with these families until 20-40 people are involved, including kids, of course.

A couple that relates excellently and has kids whom they raise excellently with Authoritative and Democratic Parenting
To find others of like minds, several things are required. Go to http://www.thebiganswer.info/register-with-captcha.php where you can register at Register for MC Search and Match. Why register? See http://www.thebiganswer.info/why-register.php. (MC = microcommunity.)

Registering for MC search and match
You'll soon see that there are no registered people in the database so searching is a nonstarter. Of course! How could there be registered people? They've never heard of MCs or The Big Answer. They have no reason to search for it. It would do no good before a media blitz to advertise, whether on Google, TV, radio, print media like magazines or newspapers—even putting ads in all of the above would be useless. (The author of this article and website doesn't have the money, by any means, nor would he waste it this way if the did.) Once the “MC Corporation” starts the media blitz (see below) and everyone in the world has heard about MCs, plenty of people will register. But until then, the database remains empty.
The only possible way for the theoretical person—in the last section—to really find the 20-40 people to create an ideal MC with (see http://www.thebiganswer.info/ ) is through something quite a bit more involved than the above “just go out and do it” method. No amount of special interest group discussions on social media or elsewhere would work. You could scour your neighborhood, your community, or your town for years and put ads in newspapers or on Craigslist but you'd get nowhere. There are lots of reasons why those you contact won't be ready to “dump authoritarianism and adopt Authoritative and Democratic Parenting Programs” and they will have no reason to feel relocating to an MC is a good idea. Even if you pointed to our website and said to start reading—especially the e-book novel—your words would fall on deaf ears. Social change absolutely does NOT happen because you're told an interesting idea from a neighbor. Even if you got someone to listen, and even read a lot on our website, and even get inspired by the novel to want to take action, then what? The chances of finding others that are ready to join an MC with you, and that are compatible with you, are nil without the database.

The only possible way for people to really find 20-40 people to create an ideal MC with is by use of a media blitz
And it's more than just finding good listeners. You'd need to do an intensive weeding out process since those you find must meet a lot of criteria, which requires computer matching which cannot happen until there are thousands of people registered. For them to be right for your MC, they must want to dump authoritarianism in their relationships and especially in their parenting and very few people are ready for this and even fewer would know how. You must feel that you’d want them as your best friends, that you’d trust them to care for your children, and that you’d happily care for their kids. They must be willing to switch to authoritative parenting regardless of the mistaken ideas they hold that are telling them to do otherwise. And they must be willing to relocate. By now you're thinking the entire MC thing is impossible. True, very few methods of achieving a successful MC movement would even begin to work.
But it is only impossible if silly methods like the above are utilized. There is no way of starting an MC transformation in a small way with a small budget. It couldn't possibly work without computer matching technology. And yet, computer matching technology cannot possibly work unless there are thousands of names in the database. And yet, getting thousands of names in the database is impossible unless a lot of people (millions) hear about the MC idea and get inspired—probably by the novel and other major media activites, like movies and TV shows—to register. Our website has been up for several years but there are no sign-ups nor should there be. We didn't program the search and match programs and database so that people would use it now, but so that it would be ready once the response to the media blitz hits. For anyone to have signed up now, where would they have heard of MCs? What would they have searched for to get to the registration page? Why would they search for MCs if no one has ever heard of them? What good would it do if a few dozen people DID sign up? As mentioned, there is no way of getting MCs going in a small way with a small budget.
The author of this website has studied the matter. The only thing that would work is a media blitz involving not only a few famous people but also big movie studios and public relations firms. The blitz would need to make one or more long, hard-hitting inspirational movies that let people see what they've been missing about creating happy lifestyles, optimal parenting, optimal living, optimal community, and optimal meaning in their lives. The (first?) movie would be called The Forest Through the Trees. The free, 299-page e-book novel called The Forest Through the Trees is right on our website, in four formats, including PDF for desktop/laptop readers, azw3 for Kindle, epub for Nook, and mobi for Mobile: http://www.thebiganswer.info/novel.php.
The media blitz's (first?) movie would get early adopters to sign up. We feel that supporting TV series would help a lot to ensure that the movement gets started and continues to be in the public consciousness. And celebrity endorsements and famous people speeches would be important as well. Given the price of movie making and TV series producing and celebrity endorsements and famous people speeches, we figure the initial investment would be around a billion dollars.
We see what should by now be obvious: someone needs to find extremely capable and smart people and start a corporation—whether profit or nonprofit is up to you. It needs to guide and run all this stuff. A great guide is The Forest Through the Trees and also the entire thousand-page website The Big Answer (http://www.thebiganswer.info/.) It's a searchable website. The good news is that you can find answers to questions with our site search and in the MC Articles section of the articles webpage (http://www.thebiganswer.info/articles.php#mc.)

Our novel: The Forest Through the Trees
If the new corporate CEO and his/her associates know what they're doing and succeed with the movies(s) and TV series, the money invested will be recouped and there may be a profit. There's probably a best method to accomplish this effectively, relative to business model and profit or nonprofit status. The leaders of the corporation would be sharp business people, so they'll know what to do and how to do it.
We totally understand how much the success of this project and movement would mean to the world, beginning with the U.S. We are very clear about the approaching cliff and how the world is poised to go over it soon if this crazy, violent world full of war, hate, terror, debt, instability and misunderstanding doesn't learn how to live and love and cooperate and parent successfully. What we want is simply this: the success of the MC movement, the media blitz, the lifestyle enhancements, the U.S. getting its act together and then the world getting its act together.
Due to the influence of omnipresent authoritarian mindsets, most children in our world are being raised in win-lose ways (even “liberal” parents are doing this) utilizing rewards and punishments and bribes, and the main goal of such misguided parenting is obedience (a foolish, authoritarian-mindset goal appropriate for dogs, not children). All this produces at-effect kids who are not autonomous but obsessed with win-lose thinking and acting. They're also other-directed, insecure, and often unhappy. All this is improper, ineffective parenting, and the bad results it creates are totally avoidable.

Obedience is a foolish, authoritarian-mindset parenting goal appropriate for dogs, not children
We know just how to produce win-win, at-cause, autonomous beings who are their own person and who know their own mind (read the e-book novel and you too will know how—see http://www.thebiganswer.info/novel.php). Such beings relate very well to others and are happy, secure, and good problem solvers. They understand critical thinking. Such kids have high emotional intelligence (E.Q.). Our country's science and research has given us all the knowledge we need, but the authoritarians do whatever they can to make sure this knowledge is never applied.
The win-win, at-cause, autonomous beings MCs produce do not respond to conflicts or disagreements with hate and violence and war making like authoritarians do. There are way too many weapons and terrorists and hate groups in the world (the U.S. is the world's biggest arms dealer). It makes the world a dangerous place where people with little to lose will surely cause catastrophic devastation and kill many millions of innocent beings sooner, rather than later. The whole world is raising warriors—warriors that have lots of hate and violence in them. They're itching for a fight. This is tragic. The win-win, at-cause, autonomous beings MCs produce are the key to turning all this around. All our lives are at stake. The cliff nears. Shouldn't we at least TRY to avoid this ugly fate?

The whole world is raising WARRIORS that have lots of hate and violence in them and are itching for a fight, but to avoid going over the cliff we need to be raising PEACEMAKERS
Other Western nations will see what we're doing with our MC movement and be very pleased. They'll decide to do it too. Everyone wants a happy, fulfilling life. Even non-Western nations will slowly realize that the destructive aspects of their beliefs are choking the life out of them and making them hateful, violent, frustrated and unhappy. They're suffering for nothing. The new lifestyle enhancement movement awaits them. As mentioned, their spiritual selves would prompt them to make this lifestyle enhancement for their own families' good and the good of all humanity. (“Spiritual” refers to the human spirit, not religious spiritualism, but it is okay if you'd like to see it in religious terms.)
The world would pull back from the brink as lifestyles transform. The environment would finally be taken seriously and not made a victim of greedy profit motives in which weak character actually made some fools believe that only money mattered and the environment didn't. They'd been foolishly selling out their families' and children's futures for an extra zero on a back account! New pollution regulations would go into effect, massive cleanups would commence, major replanting would happen, and NO more species loss would be tolerated. Habitat destruction by human activities—particularly that of tropical forests—is believed to be the main reason for the unprecedented rate of species extinction we have been witnessing for the last century. Tropical forest destruction would be prevented in all possible ways, and tropical forest growth would be encouraged in all possible ways.
The human species was meant to love, live, cooperate, plan together, and be happy—not kill, make war, react violently to others, argue, threaten others, and hate others. Authoritarian mindsets lead to the latter, while the new MC movement lifestyle enhancements lead to the former.

The human species is headed toward a sure and certain deadly cliff which is going to ensure that humanity goes the way of the dinosaurs
The dinosaurs died out due to violence from outer space.
The human species is headed toward a sure and certain deadly cliff which is going to ensure that humanity goes the way of the dinosaurs.
But the MC movement-inspired world turnaround will empower us to make a U-turn and head back toward species viability and long-term survival.
No matter how much wishing, hoping, and praying occurs, it simply will not turn anything around. The wishing, hoping, and praying—alone—can only ensure human extinction, while if the correct actions occur, we can prevent that and turn humanity into the beings they were meant to be. There is no other viable choice.
