Isn't it funny how after talking about electric cars, no one talks about how the electricity to recharge the batteries gets produced. Since the battery rechargers get plugged into standard 110-volt or 240-volt outlets (which require 3-20 hours for a full charge), most people believe that these outlets go to the power company, where fossil fuels are burned in generators that create power, thereby exposing the entire "use of electric cars to solve the climate crisis" as a fraud. In truth, these recharger outlets go not to the power company but to Utopia, where unicorns whip angels to get them to flap their wings, which they use as wind power to recharge the car batteries.

Of course, we cannot reset our economy without sinking deeply into the socialist swamp of wealth redistribution, say progressives. Never mind rewarding people for their hard work, which is obviously racist. Instead, let us reward them for their nonwhite skin color or for their very existence, sort of like school sports participation trophies, only this would be a life participation trophy. This would, of course, eliminate people's motivation to work. So no one would work. Somehow, this seems a tad shortsighted! They tried it in the Soviet Union for many years, and it was a miserable failure.

As 19th century American farmers learned, hard work was incentivised by the desire to be well fed and clothed in warm garments in a warm house. Hard workers survive, lazy workers barely survived, nonworkers didn't survive. The very beginning of this nation was nearly stillborn at Plymouth Rock when a collectivist religious order failed 400 years ago. But after that near disaster they were saved by an amazing reversal of course and the birth of a new ‘idea’ that would end up being codified in the Constitution and Bill of Rights and lead to the greatest political experiment and success in history.
