In truth, they cannot reform their plans to conform to society's actual needs, because they do not know what those needs are and have no way of finding out. The case of milk is a relatively simple and straightforward one: imagine how much more complicated healthcare is. Knowing that planners have little access to useful information but easy access to brute political force, Hayek predicted that attempts at central planning would lead to authoritarian misrule of the sort that characterized the socialist regimes of the mid-twentieth century, an argument he spelled out at great length in The Road to Serfdom."
Let us look at 2020. If Biden wins, he'll be around a few months until his senility and confusion become so blatant he is put out to pasture. The next cow in line is a walking nightmare. Harris will take less time to get to authoritarian misrule than many of the socialist strongmen around the world took. Radical progressives already knew the underlying plan: Pretend to help the little guy while gaining power and wealth for the leaders and removing power and wealth from the populace. After reading The Politically Incorrect Guide™ to Socialism, you will see how the other socialist societies are becoming worse and worse for the citizens while getting better and better for the leaders. It doesn't matter whether Harris will be pulling this scam on us on purpose or because it is the underlying evil nature of socialism. It'll still happen, as Williamson describes, because it is what always happens with central planning and socialism.

So Williamson and Hayek expect socialism to degenerate into Fascism unless the socialists see the error of their ways and revert back to democracy. But socialism gives the leaders a better deal for themselves than does democracy. Seeing the progressives' socialism giving the citizens less and less of a fair deal is unlikely to get them to revert back to democracy, because democracy gives the leaders a worse deal. SERIOUSLY, FOLKS, YOU DIDN'T REALLY BUY THEIR HORSE PUCKEY THAT THEY WANTED TO BE ELECTED SO THEY COULD HELP YOU, DID YOU?!

To see what Harris will do, let's consult her record. She got a lot of money from the Catholic Church for her political campaigns, so when an endless parade of child molesting priests were caught, she jailed how many of these evil creeps? Not a single one! Other states were jailing abusers, but she cared not one bit for the welfare of these poor abused children, but quite a bit for political campaign money. Now you see why the progressives' socialism giving the citizens less and less of a fair deal is unlikely to get her to revert back to democracy. Democracy gives the leaders a worse deal than the progressives' socialism. Consult your history books. What have the socialist leaders ALWAYS done? Whatever gives them the most wealth and power. No exceptions! The Biden-Harris ticket is a recipe for the death of elections, democracy, freedom, most rights, the Constitution, and people-centered law and order. Progressivism may be the word, but your worst nightmare will be the reality. Tyranny awaits the unwary that buy into the lies of the Biden-Harris ticket.

Once the citizens see the scam being pulled on them and wish to rebel, it will be too late. Socialists have always revamped their forces until they are ready to stomp on resistance and rebellion at a moment's notice. If you want to stay healthy in the Biden-Harris version of socialism, you will go along to get along. Or you will be stomped like a cockroach. It is how socialism works. Socialists wish to be judged by the socialism they dream of, not the one they have. This is much like how liberals that create programs want these programs to be judged by the intentions of the program creators, NOT BY THE PROGRAMS' RESULTS! This is a form of pseudoscience that can well be considered anti-science.

There should be freedom of speech for liberals, but none for conservatives, they say. If liberals come to power, conservatives' freedom of speech will disappear like ice on a hot griddle.
