Goad's Work Examines American Culture's Sickest New Fad: Hating All Things White

The Amazon blurb says that In 50 short, sharp, incisive essays, Jim Goad examines why the idea of being white has become the modern version of the unpardonable sin.

Goad's work examines American culture, often popular and political culture. His early work reads anti-politically correct and as shock value, while his later work, like The Redneck Manifesto, and journalism contributions have marked Goad as a political and societal commentator. With a circulation of 13,000 Goad's self-published magazine ANSWER ME! sought to upset politically correct thinkers by covering subjects about race and feminism.

In The Redneck Manifesto: How Hillbillies Hicks and White Trash Became America's Scapegoats, Goad shows how discrimination in the United States is focused around social class, not race; rich elites blind the poor, and cause them to fight one another

In Whiteness: The Original Sin, Goad makes the case that the leftists' anti-white campaign is like a caricature of political correctness. It is at least as hateful as the alt-right's racist dogma. Somehow they've forgotten that two wrongs don't make a right. The 'Social Justice Warriors' of the Antifa thugs—the leftists' attack dogs—are just the Left's version of the KKK. Goad, an elite hating exconvict, says many hateful, profane, misogynist, and violent things. His expletive-filled rants are unfortunate, reminding us of nothing so much as Trump's impulsive Tweets that often get him into trouble. Trump's Access Hollywood tape debacle wherein he made exceedingly lewd remarks about women and boasted of his ability to get away with sexual assault nearly killed his chances of becoming President, just like Goad's beating a woman half to death and showing no remorse got him 2.5 years in prison and nearly wrecked his career.

Goad's Other Work Looks at the Left's Hypocritical, Racist PC Campaign to Pretend to Stop Racism by Disparaging Whites and the Lower Class

Goad's 1997 book The Redneck Manifesto: How Hillbillies Hicks and White Trash Became America's Scapegoats explores the idea of poor whites celebrating their heritage similar to poor African Americans, and that discrimination in the United States is focused around social class, not race. His thesis is that the rich elite blind the poor, and cause them to fight one another, instead of working together for their mutual benefit. Many modern white people are in the clutches of a massive collective guilt complex the likes of which the world may have never known. We wonder if there is an historical precedent to subpopulations of citizens being brainwashed into self-hatred merely because they're more successful and technologically advanced than other groups. Whites have "unearned privilege" for which, if they are following the tenets of the PC liberal narrative, they should feel shame and guilt. There is no shame in being white, says Goad.
